Liakhov Volodymyr Afanasiyovych (1941–2018) was a Ukrainian Soviet pilot-cosmonaut and twice Hero of the Soviet Union.
He completed three spaceflights: as commander of the spacecraft «Soyuz-32» and the orbital station «Salyut-6» (landing via «Soyuz-34»), «Soyuz T-9» and the station «Salyut-7», and «Soyuz TM-6» with visits to the station «Mir» (landing via «Soyuz-TM-5»), with a total duration of 333 days 7 hours 17 minutes 37 seconds.
He performed three spacewalks with a total duration of 7 hours 7 minutes.
