The Ukrainian diaspora is not an abstraction, but a very concrete force.

In Canada, the Ukrainian presence is measured by more than 1.25 million people of Ukrainian origin, in the United States – more than 1.6 million. In Europe, new large Ukrainian communities have formed in recent years, and the largest groups of people under temporary protection today live in Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic.
